The family of Amie Gray, a 34-year-old personal trainer fatally stabbed on a Bournemouth beach, has paid tribute to her vibrant spirit and loving nature.

Amie was one of two women attacked on Durley Chine Beach at approximately 23:45 BST on 24 May.

Amie's wife, Sian, shared her grief, saying, "Her giggly laugh and big smile will be hard to be without. I will miss you immensely, my love. To the moon and back, forever and always. Words cannot describe the pain that we feel. Amie was the most loving wife and mother."

Amie's mother, Sharon Macklin, also expressed her sorrow, describing Amie as "amazing, funny, kind, and energetic." She added, "As a family, we are devastated to have lost one of the most amazing souls. When Amie entered a room, it filled with laughter, and her presence could not be ignored. She was beautiful inside and out, and there are no words that can express how empty our lives will be without her. We will miss her so much, and our hearts are forever broken."

A 20-year-old man from Croydon, London, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. The second woman, aged 38, sustained serious injuries and remains in the hospital.

Following the incident, a cordon was placed along the promenade, but it has since been lifted. However, search efforts continue. On Tuesday morning, search teams were seen descending the cliffs on ropes, clearing undergrowth in their investigation.

Local residents have expressed their shock and fear following the stabbings, though some have been reassured by the police response. The community continues to process the tragedy and support Amie's family during this difficult time.
